End of the season:Checking and Upgrading your golf equipment. First check your grips, are they worn or just dirty. You can clean your grips to see if they are worth saving, first rinse off your grips with warm or hot water. Then sprinkle them with ajax or comet cleaning powder using a old tooth brush or plastic brush to scrub the grip rinsing off with hot water. Then use a dry clean towel to dry off. Check the the grip to see if it is tacky and usable. If at this point the grip is worn or still feels slick, then you should replace it. If you have Winn or leather grips you should use a leather cleaner or leather soap to clean and dry off then check. There's a wide selection of grips you can choose to replace your old ones. The Winn and leather grips feel nice but they need higher maintance and tend to not last as long. Many of the rubber compands can be easier maintance. When considering new grips how rough do you want your new grips, some are so tacky they can actually wear out your glove and wear on your hand. Also the size of the grip is important to the player, larger grips can feel better but not neccessary better for the player. If you are looking into getting new grips, I can give you options for prices and type of grips if you give me a call @ 715-581-2646 or email [email protected] thanks Buck Welsh
